COST Action ES0802
- The Cyprus Institute hosts the next spring meetings of COST Action ES 0802 in 2011. The meetings are accomplished as a follow-up of a workshop organised by Manfred Lange from the Cyprus Institute.
This is an initiative to establish an European COST action on the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for atmospheric research. The Kick-Off Meeting took place on November, 20th 2008 in Brussels. In the meantime there have been two meetings of the working groups, four meetings of the managing committee and one core group meeting, see our meetings page.
The meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus between 2010/04/19 and 2010/04/23 has been cancelled due to the flight restrictions caused by the ash of an icelandic volcano. Workshop and COST meeting have been postponed to spring 2011.

2010/07/08: Joachim Reuder, Chair of COST Action ES 0802 informs about new members of the Management Committee: Patrick Crill (SE), Mattias Abrahamson (SE), Anders Lindroth (SE, MC substitute), Priit Tissler (FIN, MC substitute), Stefania Amici (IT) and Grisa Mocnik (SL).
2010/06/25: Phil Anderson (British Antarctic Survey) announces a workshop and exhibition "Scientific Applications of Unmanned Aerial Systems in Atmospheric Research" at Clare College, Cambridge and Met Office, Cardington (UK) by COST Action ES 0802 in collaboration with the Royal Meteorological Society and the UK Met Office, 2010/09/22-24. 2010/06/21: The 2010 summer Core Group (CG) meeting is a video conference meeting. Due to the cancellation of the Action's spring meeting, this meeting has been scheduled as a video conference. You will find the agenda here.

2010/01/29: Manfred Lange from the Cyprus Institute published his call for a UAV workshop in Nicosia, Cyprus between 2010/04/19 and 2010/04/23 in the Framework of COST Action ES 0802.
