COST Action ES0802

This is an initiative to establish an European COST action on the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for atmospheric research. The Kick-Off Meeting took place on November, 20th 2008 in Brussels. The first meeting of the working groups was accomplished in Braunschweig, Germany on 2009/02/23-24. On June 2nd and 3rd 2009, the Core Group (CG) members met in Bergen (Norway) at the Geophysical Institute / University of Bergen and the 2nd meeting of the working groups and the Managing Committee (MC) was accomplished in Andenes, Norway at the Andoya Rocket Range and ALOMAR (2009/09/02-04). News on UAVs and COST ES 0802 in 2010
2010/01/29: Manfred Lange from the Cyprus Institute published his call for a UAV workshop in Nicosia, Cyprus between 2010/04/19 and 2010/04/23 in the Framework of COST Action ES 0802. It is titled "Expanding the Scope - Autonomous Flying Platforms for Atmospheric and Earth Surface Observations in the Mediterranean". You will find more informations and the registration form here.
2010/01/15: Amit Teller from the Cyprus Institute has been nominated as a new member of the Managing Committee of COST Action ES 0802 for Cyprus.
