COST Action ES0802
- Main entrance of the Mappin Building, home of the faculty of engineering, where the COST spring meeting will take place. The local organiser is Prof. Costas Soutis.
This is an initiative to establish an European COST action on the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for atmospheric research. The Kick-Off Meeting took place on November, 20th 2008 in Brussels. In the meantime there have been two meetings of the working groups, four meetings of the managing committee and one core group meeting, see our meetings page.
The next meeting (2012/04/11-13) will be organised by Costas Soutis (University of Sheffield) in the Faculty of Engineering-Aerospace, University of Sheffield.

2012/02/14-16: The 2012 NAERS meeting was organised by Wolfgang Junkermann, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (DE). Several members of COST Action ES 0802 attended and presented their recent work.
